Vanina -- You're right... Perhaps I can post about some adrenaline pumping on the Chutes! This snow season really hasn't been worth blogging about until the past few weeks!

Awesome!!! Too bad you don't have your teles on ;-)

And by the way Lynnette - this is on the RSCVA blog - at least a link. We need you and Robert back blogging. With a baby on a backpack my posts are not the same.

What's up with witholding the location of your backcountry locale? Very cool video. The new Sony Handycams aren't too bad - miniDV. And I think Panasonic is coming out with a minicam that writes to disk - may have already.

Oh, and nice backflip!@!!!!!!

Wow, that was so cool. That's how I WANT to ski powder! The RSCVA should totally be contracting with you for pics and videos. At minimum, that video should be on their blog! I think many people this week will be calling in sick to take advantage of the snow... Unfortunately, I've taken a lot of sick time, so I'll have to go up with the hoards of people on the weekend!!! I swear, the Chutes better open this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My debate with "Not on the Web Guy" on my previous ski post did prompt me to more carefully consider the areas I highlight. Places like ski resorts are well-known, but backcountry areas that I explore to get away from crowds are different. In the future, you will find that I won't be specific about places that are off the beaten path. I will still show images and video from these places as long as they do not reveal where the location is. Of course, I will have to see how it goes. If I capture something that is unique and exceptional, in my opinion, it could prove difficult to bury in my own personal archives. I will just have to approach it on a case-by-case basis.

Awesome video, but dammit, quit promoting this place as something people will enjoy. In fact, can you box it up and put it under your bed for safe keeping?
