My frequency of blog posts has been utterly pathetic as of late.
It is not like I haven’t been getting out and about. In fact, in the past three weeks I have surfed in Sebastian, Florida, attended an art show and an oyster roast in Charleston, South Carolina, and worked and skied in Reno-Tahoe.
Certainly plenty to write about.
In fact, as I type I am getting ready to leave for Salt Lake City in the morning for additional work related activities, as well as some long overdue skiing in the Wasatch Mountains with good friends.
Still, that is little excuse for not writing.
Maybe it is because I am often busy allocating words to my company’s blog, press releases, web copy, marketing plans, and magazine articles?
I suspect that still doesn’t warrant my flagrant inattention to my own personal pursuits.
Or, is it because I don’t think you really give a damn about all of that, and believe you’d rather poke your eyes out with a burning stick than read all this nonsense about how I think I am significant to anything meaningful in your life?
Instead, how about a ski picture I took in Tahoe on Saturday while backcountry skiing? Yes, that’s better…
Awwwww…I give a damn. In fact, even though I have already poked my eyes out with a hot stick, every morning I have a sweet elderly lady come in to my office and read your blog aloud to me. Then she plays solitare.
Glad you got to make some turns.
Hey you said it best when some of us were in the same position. You have to do it for yourself, not anybody else. I lived in Florida and a few other States in the South, personally it’s nice to see video of some of the places we’re missing out on. I have great artwork in our bar area and I learned how to make and post my first video on the blog because of your writings. The video (mine) sucked to some but I love it, because it’s something I enjoy looking back on. As for writing, write when you feel like it. If people enjoy what you have to say, they’ll check back and see what’s new.
Awesome ski photo, I guess now I’ll go poke my eyes out with a burning stick before I pay some bills this evening.
Ah, glad to see you were in my neck of the woods! I had wanted to go backcountry last weekend, but my hubby said the conditions would suck. How was it?
You definitely inspired me to figure out video posts (finally made one work), and I bought some new music based on your blog. If you sold the color versions of that bar sign, I’d probably buy it (if it was cheap). Post away.
